Artist's Comments

So....my scanner's still gone, but I figured out that I could just sketch stuff out on Photosop. Actually, you can't even see the lines anymore because they're so accurate (and I'm terrible with a mouse, so this is a big plus for me). What I've decided is to make a tutorial both on painting the dragon and adding the lines in case you don't have a tablet (I'm sure I do somewhere in my house, but that could be ANYWHERE). So enjoy this, and Merry Christmas!!

Gorgeous, I especially like the background. :) Its arms look a bit funny, but the flames are fantastic. Well done!

The colours are fantastic! =) Although his arm looks a bit funny. Apart from that, it's awesome!

I had someone else say that...but I don't really see it myself. Maybe it's because I didn't darken his hand/claw so that it looked as if he was beinding his arm forward in a way that you can't see the lower part of his arm? (It's in an L-shape, by a side perspective). It's the same with his front leg, except that it's much easier to see. Any suggestions? (I can always use a bit of criticism and advice!=D)

I love the flames and color choice and setting. I do see what both the commentors and what you are saying about the arm and here's a couple idea's you may or may not want to try...shading the bi-cep from lighter to darker as you go down towards the elbow OR move the hand over to the right just a hint and show part of the elbow, great work and never has anyone seen my drawings the way I do, which has always perplexed me???
